--Applying plain, sugar-free yogurt inside the vagina is a way to experience immediate, cooling relief of symptoms and also fights the bad bacteria present there.
--Inserting a peeled garlic clove (attached to a long piece of thread) into the vagina can also help to fight unhealthy bacteria.
--Utilizing good nutrition—low sugar, high veggie, whole grains and protein--can keep the bacteria at bay, rather than feeding it.
--Taking a probiotic supplement is also a way to support the healthy bacteria in your system.

As always, it is best to check with your medical professional before trying any remedies at home. However, by being proactive and taking the right steps, it is possible for a pregnant woman to defeat yeast infections and enjoy a healthy pregnancy to the fullest.
